I bought this shoe because I am
a teacher, so I am on my feet almost all day. This shoe is
very comfortable, although the one problem I have found is
that it rubs on the heel a little bit. Not enough to cause a
blister, just a bit of pressure.) I put a Band-Aid on my heel
today to protect it, and it was fine. I have not broken them
in yet (only worn them two or three times), so I am assuming
that when I break them in, this problem will go away. Other
than that, I love this shoe! Skechers active bikers step up
are great shoes. I found I could wash them after I stepped
into a mud hole, a real mud hole. I just ran them under warm
water and they rised right off.
I love my Skechers shoes. I
bought the white pair this past summer and got many
compliments on the look and the fit was very comfortable. I
decided to buy the brown ones for fall/winter...just the
perfect shoe for casual wear. Very comfortable. This shoe is
very comfortable. I had a similar pair from Skechers and
always received complements on the look. So I bought another
in the brown suede which I love. I wanted a shoe that was
comfortable, yet attractive and I specifically didn't want the
look of a sneaker. These shoes are perfect. They're very
comfortable, like a sneaker, yet don't look at all like an
athletic shoe. They're just what I was looking for. Theses
shoes are so very comfortable I am very impressed. I bought
them because they looked stylish enough to wear to work, but
were just as comfortable as wearing tennies. They are actually
more comfortable than my tennies. I was looking for a pair of
comfy black shoes I could wear to the office - I have a
similar pair from Skechers in brown and they are really cute
and comfortable. (A mary jane style - Escape) I am recovering
from a broken ankle so I have a very limited selection of
shoes that accomodate my swollen ankle/foot. These worked for
that purpose. They are stable for walking, but I noticed my
heels slip out sometimes. They are not as cute as the mary
jane style but they look good with pants. I have not tried it
yet but I think they might look a little clunky with a skirt.
Overall, I think they are a good shoe, but I think the criss
cross strap, and the different textures of the leather are a
little too busy looking. But I am going to keep them since I
need a comfortable pair of black shoes. |
